Week 10: Even Jesus Hates The Browns

For the second straight week I was unable to watch the Steelers on a Sunday afternoon. So as much as I wanted to inhale some wings and marvel in the awesomenesses that is Ben Roethlisberger, I had to hunker down and get some homework done. This didn’t prevent me from following the game via NFL.com, and damn was it stressful. The Steelers entered halftime down fifteen points and the outlook wasn’t good. Mike Tomlin must have said something fierce, because the offense was revitalized in the second half.

The play of the game had to be Ben’s 30 yd. touchdown run. It’s a shame that Tom Brady and the Pats are getting all the headlines, because Ben is having one hell of a year. He’s emerged as a solid play maker in this his 4th season, and I feel a division title coming our way along with a run into the playoffs. Not only that, but I’m pretty sure that’s 9 wins in a row against Cleveland. They suck.

Next week we’re at the Jets, and it’s not a stretch to say that we’ll be 8-2 after next week. There are two games in December, against that Jags and of course the Pats that make me a little apprehensive due to the fact well … in recent history they’ve given us some trouble. A 13-3 finish is within the realm of possibility … but I don’t want to get ahead of myself.
