LEGO Lord Of The Rings Hits Consoles This October

A new trailer for LEGO Lord of the Rings featuring gameplay footage popped up online late last week while I was away on vacation.  I’m very excited for this title, as Travelers’ Tales has a very good  track record  in their partnership with LEGO to date.

With LEGO having the Lord of the Rings license, all I can hope for now after seeing this trailer is a set featuring the Balrog and Gandulf atop the Bridge of Khazad-dum. Wow.  I’m so nerdy sometimes I find it unsettling.

    That’s awesome!

    I got the complete Lego Star Wars a couple years back and that was incredible. LOTR looks just as good, although I can’t imagine how Frodo can wear the ring without fingers! ;-)

    Dare I say it(?): Can a Trek edition be far behind?

      Don’t think a LEGO Star Trek game will be coming anytime soon. Hasbro currently has the rights to the Abrams-verse to produce construction sets in their KRE-O line.
