As part of their Late Show film series, The Bryn Mawr Film Institute will be screening Serenity on October 19th at 11:30pm.  I could go on for several hours about how uplifting  Joss Whedon’s 2005 big screen adaptation of the cult favorite Firefly is; but at the same time it is just soul crushing.

Tickets for the show are just $7 for general admission and $5 for BMFI members. I think it’s a small price to see a great movie on the big screen again in an audience full of fans.
