Steelers Win, Nearly Kill A Raven or Two

In case you haven’t seen the video of Ryan Clark laying the debilitating hit on Raven’s RB Willis McGahee last night … well, here it is. Everyone knew this game was going to be ridiculous, considering how Hines Ward got taken out in the early going getting his knee spun around 270 degrees.

Wow. McGahee got jacked up. This morning team doctors reported that despite the savage hit, McGahee was “neurologically intact“, which is good considering everyone thought he died last night.

Ryan Clark is an animal, he has laid down hits like this all season with very little regard for his own well being. Now there is some debate whether or not it was a clean hit, or the fact that the Heinz Field staff played “party music” while McGahee laid motionless on the field could be considered tasteless.

Playoffs! A Pretty Regular Thing In Pittsburgh

T Minus 4 hours and change before the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Whales Vagina Chargers in the frigid confines of Heinz Field. The last time these two teams met the Steelers walked away with an 11-10 victory. A daunting game, which featured an excellent defensive performance from Troy Polomalu.

Despite Ben’s most recent concussion in the last regular season of the season, I have confidence that he’ll lead the Black & Gold to another AFC Championship.

The Steelers’ defensive corps has been outstanding this year, led by guys like Troy Polomalu, AP Defensive Player of the Year James Harrison, James Farrior, and Rookie Lamar Woodley have just been stifling this year.

My prediction, Steelers 34-18.
