Hey, That Monster Chick from Splice is Pretty Hot

For the last couple of months, I’ve been hearing about this upcoming science fiction thriller Splice starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley. It screened at a couple of festivals, I think Sundance was one of them. Over at io9 I finally caught a full trailer for it, and it has definitely piqued my interest.

As the norm these days, this trailer exposes to much of the plot. I think I have it figured out:

  • Guy and Gal scientist do something they aren’t supposed to
  • Gal makes Guy keep their genetic bastard a secret
  • The creature turns out to be oddly hot, Guy has sex with it
  • Gal tries to kill the new creature, fails and sets it off into a murderous rage
  • Everyone dies at the end, except creature who was impregnated by the Guy … propogating an entirely new species.

If I have learned anything from the various creationist tales in science fiction and horror, is that if the creature is an oddly attractive female … some guy will try and have sex with it. Splice is giving me an X-Files vibe, and I keep on waiting for Mulder to show up at the end of the trailer.

Splice will finds its way to theaters on June 4th.

Diora Baird’s Cleavage Has Won Twitter

I’ve previously mentioned that I follow hottie actress Diora Baird on Twitter. She seems to not take herself to seriously, and tends not to get all celebri-douchey, and she’s very easy on the eyes.

On Thursday night, Ms. Baird tweeted a photo of her glorious cleavage that I immediately downloaded to my desktop. When I went back to screen cap the tweet it mysteriously disappeared, which could be attributed to an awkward conversation with her agent/publicist approximately 13 seconds after it hit Twitter.

Being the industrious denizen of the Interwebz that I am … I have provided said picture below. It’s not like I haven’t seen her boobs, they’ve been prominently featured in Wedding Crashers and in a Playboy pictorial (which can be easily located via Google Image Search)

ABC Is Looking Better Already

Because I will do pretty much anything that a commercial tells me to I tuned in to watch ABC’s new comedies, The Knights Of Prosperity and In Case of Emergency. Based on what I saw tonight, I believe that both have potential to be really good serial comedies. This might even make up for the awful schlock they usually push like According to Jim and Rodney. I’m not here to nitpick but I wanted to share something with you all. Hotties to be exact…..

Would You Hit It? Star Trek Edition

Apparently the big news of the day was Kirstie Alley strutting around in a bikini on Oprah to celebrate how much weight she has lost. Hell, it was even on the front page of CNN.com. If you are really curious as to what that train wreck looked like, our friends over at The Superficial have screen caps. Now I watched the video of the aforementioned bikini-strutting and I have to say … not that bad, she still has fat thighs though. However, unlike the cases of Raquel Welch & Morgan Fairchild I WOULD NOT hit it. Kirstie Alley was a serious piece of ass in the 80s; check out some re-runs of Cheers or add Loverboy to your Netflix queue.

Notably, Kirstie Alley originally portrayed Savik in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and for a time, was the hottest Vulcan in the universe until T’Pol came around. And since I am on the subject here’s my favorite Star Trek babes in no particular order:
